The sun charges the rechargable battery via the solar panel - and really, that's it - you have yourself an eco-friendly solution. Given the cordless nature, it's perfect for balconies, patios, etc - where it can be hard to get to power. It's also the solution to those awesome parties and an outdoor celebrations, well away from the house, where power is just not an option. Now your brain is ticking isn't it - they're on the boat, they're in the kid's cubby house, you're thinking of attaching them to the inside of the roof of your Kombi Van (damn hippies). Either way, there's no insurance issues with this product, no guests taking you to court for some dodgey electrocution claim your guests come nightfall.

With ultra bright LEDs, your outdoor area will be illuminated and the possibilities are endless - as you now have the ultimate flexibility to decorate and transform where-ever you want.

Now the hard choice: which Mode...as there are six different modes to choose from, including constant, fast flash, slow flash, fast flicker, chasing and a combination of all of the above. As well as On/Off - there's a built-in automatic light sensor plus various timer settings so you can program your lights to turn on as dusk and switch off once you've left.

The battery is such that a five hour charge gives about eight hours of power. So unless you're planning to party all night (ok - you'd better buy 2 - just in case). Given our weather an important feature is the waterproof housing for the rechargable battery...so you can leave it outside 24/7.
